Introduction to Fly Casting

  Learning the sound basics of fly casting is critical for success.  This class is recommended for students that are new to Fly Fishing with little or no experience. The basic principles of fly casting will be covered with plenty of hands-on fly casting and critique from your instructor. You will learn the basics of presenting a fly in order to be successful on the water. Your instructor will provide you with casting drills and tips in order to develop your own casting style and improve. This is a two (2) hour session held in Strasburg, PA at our local casting pond.

Class Fee: $100.00 for one student ($60.00 for each additional student – max. 3 students per session)

Intermediate to Advanced Fly Casting

  Learn how to improve your casting skills. This class is recommended for students with basic casting skills but would like to improve in all phases of casting. Techniques covered in this class:

  • Single and Double Haul
  • Dealing with the Wind
  • Effectively Casting from a Boat
  • Learning to Cast Efficiently
  • Improve your Casting Distance

  During this session, we will also troubleshoot you’re casting technique and make suggestions for improvement. Are you booking a destination fly fishing trip soon? Put this class on your “pre-trip” agenda. This is a two (2) hour session held in Strasburg, PA at our local casting pond.
